myBRTC portal
Students can use MyBRTC portal to:
- register for classes,
- check their mid-term and final grades (mid-term grades are not mailed to students),
- review their accounts and financial aid,
- pay on their accounts,
- view their current class schedule,
- look at their degree plan,
- view their unofficial transcript, and
- update their demographic information.
Login to myBRTC
1. Click on myBRTC
2. First-time users will use the following method to determine their username and password:
Username: firstname.middleinitial.lastname
Password: Date of Birth (MMDDYY)
For Example, John Quincy Doe with a birthday of January 1, 2000, would login as follows
Username: John.Quincy.Doe
Password: 01012000
3. Returning users will use the following method to login:
Username: firstname.middleinitial.lastname
Password: Whatever you changed your password to after your first log in
For Example, John Quincy Doe with a birthday of January 1, 2000, who changed his password to GoBlackHawks! would login as follows
Username: John.Quincy.Doe
Password: GoBlackHawks!
Student Email
Students access their email from the myBRTC portal.
What’s my username and password?
You will use the same password for myBRTC, email, Moodle, and to log into the computer network in the computer labs.
Username: First Name.Middle Initial.Last name (ie John Q Doe would be John.Q.Doe).
Password: Your initial password is your 6 digit birthday (ie January 12, 1990 = 011290). You will be asked to change it.

Your BRTC student email address will be your account

How do I access my email?
You can access your email through myBRTC.
I already have an email account that I would rather use. How can I use that one?
You can forward your BRTC email account to an existing account by logging into your Gmail account, click on settings, forwarding and enable forwarding to your existing account. After that any emails send to your BRTC address should be forwarded to the account you designated.
