BRTC offers scholarships for new and current BRTC students, but some go unfunded because students do not think they are eligible. Go ahead and apply! We'll help you as much as we can!
General Information
- Students must be accepted for admission to BRTC.
- Students must have submitted a FAFSA application
- Concurrent hours will be calculated in with cumulative GPA requirements for renewal of scholarships
- Scholarship guidelines and funding are subject to change

Scholarships for 1st-Time Entering Students
These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit to first-time entering freshmen. Students must be used within the first 5 years of graduating from an accredited Arkansas High School or be an Arkansas resident.
- The BRTC admission application serves as the scholarship application for these scholarships.
- Students must be accepted for admission to BRTC.
- Students must have submitted a FAFSA application.
Academic Distinction Scholarship
Award: Full Tuition (up to 16 credit hours)
Length: Up to 2 years
- Must be a traditional first-time entering freshmen graduating from an accredited Arkansas high school or Arkansas resident
- Awarded to students who have an ACT superscore of 24 or higher or Top 10% of the class the student is graduating in
- Must complete 15 credit hours per semester and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA effective Fall 2020
Academic Incentive Scholarship
Award: $250/semester
Length: Up to 2 years
- Must be a first-time entering freshmen graduating from an accredited Arkansas high school or Arkansas resident
- Applied toward Tuition or Fees
- Awarded to students who have an ACT composite score of 19-23
- Must complete 15 credit hours per semester and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA
Hard Tech Scholarship
Award: $250/semester
Length: Up to 2 years
- Must be seeking a degree in one of the following technical programs: welding, auto collision, machine tool technology, auto repair, industrial electricity, and industrial maintenance.
- Must be a first-time entering freshmen
- Applied toward Tuition or Fees
- Awarded to students who have at least a 2.5 GPA or have the following Accuplacer scores: 77 on Math, 83 on English, and 78 on Reading; Next Generation scores: 257 on Math; 261 on English, and 253 on Reading.
- Must complete 15 credit hours per semester and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA
- May not be stacked with the Academic Distinction Scholarship, Presidents Scholarship, or the USA Gold Medal Scholarship
USA Gold Medal Scholarship
Award: Full Tuition (up to 16 credit hours)
Length: Up to 2 years
- Must be a traditional first-time entering freshmen graduating from an accredited Arkansas high school
- Must have earned a Gold Medal in Skills USA Competition
- Must complete 15 credit hours per semester and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA

Scholarships for All Students
All students, even first-time entering students, are eligible for the following scholarships, depending on the scholarship's criteria. BRTC private scholarships are scholarships offered by private donors for a wide variety of students and disciplines.
BRTC's President's Scholarship
Award Amount
- Full tuition/semester, Non – renewable (up to 16 credit hours)
- Two semesters (Fall & Spring) provided the recipient maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Requirements
- Be enrolled fulltime
- Complete the scholarship application

BRTC Foundation Private Scholarships
