Business Instructor Susan Shanlever has retired from Black River Technical College (BRTC) after 12 years of service.

“It’s hard to imagine the department without Susan around,” a fellow coworker said. “She has been someone I could always count on for a good conversation. Her presence and sense of humor will definitely be missed.”

Shanlever was recognized at a retirement reception and at an end-of-the-year celebration for BRTC faculty and staff. She received a plaque and her choice of a bench or rocking chair to recognize her commitment to BRTC.
