Six Sigma Certification

Black River Technical College, in conjunction with GCITC, offers the Six Sigma certification. We offer both the Green Belt Certification and the Black Belt Certification.

Completers receive a BRTC Certification by completing these courses and will also be prepared to take the ASQ certification exams.

The program is limited to 10 participants and each participant will be required to complete a cost-savings project for his/her organization in order to receive the certification.

About the Black Belt Certification

The 80-hour Black Belt Certification course spans 20 weeks in an active learning environment. It is designed for organizations that want to develop employees to be supply chain, logistics, quality, and problem-solving experts.

Participants complete rigorous training while completing a workplace improvement project. The end result is an effectively completed initiative. Students earn BRTC's Black Belt Six Sigma Certification and are prepared to take the ASQ Black Belt Certification Exam.

The 80-hours completed in BRTC/GCITC Six Sigma Green Belt Course serve as a prerequisite for entrance into the program. Proof of prior Green Belt certification is required to attend.
