Industrial Maintenance

This two-year program is designed to prepare workers who are cross-trained in several areas of industrial needs across industries and sectors. Students will be prepared for entry-level position in the maintenance and repair of industrial machines, equipment, and power distribution. Emphasis will be placed on:

  • supervisory and leadership skills;
  • troubleshooting skills, preventative maintenance techniques, and safety;
  • basic electricity, circuits, PLCs, AC/DC fundamentals;
  • Hydraulics;
  • Machine processes, blueprint reading, and CNC fundamentals; and
  • Arc and MIG welding.

All BRTC degree-seeking students should demonstrate competency in the general education learning outcomes.
