Industrial Electricity

The use and maintenance of common electrical and electronic devices and instruments is the focus of the Technical Certificate in Industrial Electricity/Electronics program. With the certificate, graduates will find employment in such non-licensed areas as factory and plant maintenance, electrical and electronic installations for industrial and shipboard application, appliance repair, and electric power line work. Other typical fields of work are electronic circuit assembly and trouble-shooting. Graduates also may find employment opportunities in applications requiring licensed electricians, such as electrical wiring rules and procedures for both industry and residential applications.

All BRTC degree-seeking students should demonstrate competency in the general education learning outcomes.
